Nick Warren this past Saturday at Avalon

I know a few of you were there, and I need your help with a few things.
i am doing a review for the evening, and I was wondering if anyone was there that could help me with track ids. At least some of the highlights----
For all those who were there, you know how great this evening was. I was incredibly impressed with Warren's performance (Tall Paul sucked tho!!) and I was equally impressed with Avalon, their staff, their sound system, etc. The crowd and vibe were OK...a major improvment from Estate and I forsee Avalon having a promising future if they continue to operate the way they are. Refreshing indeed for our city!
He ended the set with a fantastic remix of clocks that Ive never heard before. anyone know the ID? cool claps were in it. I loved it.
Also, remember the awesome video screen below the DJ booth with the buddhas twiddling their fingers to the beat? so hot!
the entire night...never stopped dancing. his beats were a beautiful mix of melodic sounds while maintaining a non-stop dance beat....to me it seemed like epic trance was meeting progressive trance halfway to form a really great sound --- i never left the dance floor once...not even to go to the bathroom---
what are your thoughts? thanks for your help :gsmile:
I dare say that I think I might have had a better time at Nick warren than pvd the night before. that is a scary thought for me... |

Wow that does soung amazing. After listening to his Gu cd's I have been hooked also. You should be seeing him around in the not to distant future ;)

Also, does Nick warren have a website? any good resources for biographical info on him?
For those who dont know, Nick Warren is Way Out West (I forget the name of the other DJ who joins him in the auspice of WoW) |

| Way Out West is Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff, a truly amazing production duo - wanted to see Nick Warren last weekend but had no gas in tank left after PVD Friday nite at the Roxy (plus no $$) |

| too bad you missed it man...the show was truly amazing...i was so suprised and was not expecting it at all. honestly, im a huge huge huge PVD fan, but this show was better than PVD the nite before |

| Damn, was planning to go but got the flu.... sucks. I've been a HUGE fan of Nick Warren since I heard his Global Underground Budapest CD.... definitely one of the best sets EVER! |
