| Its pretty wild, especially here in Nyc, I can recall a number of djs coming here, quite a few , but nothing like november and december this time around, eveeeeryone is here, its just insane, the demand to hear them has risen greatly, and even in the streets all u hear is trance and house, as opposed to fifty cent.. its the New Frontier:eyespop: |

Hmmm 2003 was the rise of the progressive trance for sure.
But for the "trance" what so called club trance (or uplifting for pplz who don't know the meaning) is was a bad year IMO, I just listened to most of the club trance and got bored...meh
Prog trance owned all. |
Uh i'm not sure where you've been but 2003 was more like 99 than ever far from the year of progressive...2001 was year of progressive thats why i was so sleepy all the time...

i think it's up to those of us who have been listening to trance for a while to give all the bandwagoners guidance and help them discover the deep meaning behind trance and how complex it really is. everyone who gets into trance has to get a start at some point.
i agree that this was a very good year, definately not as good as 1999. for me it seems that the majority of the songs that i end up liking are being played heavily when i go to shows in the late spring through mid fall.
for some reason a lot of the stuff i hear during the winter doesnt impress me too much. i am looking forward to 2004 though. |

2002 people came back to their senses (aka solar stone, ronski speed etc etc)
2003....trance is far from dead much to the chagrin of progressive heads...

| the only thing is, i wish they stop releasing new versions of classics.. i mean if its done well, its tolerable but some tracks jut dont need a makeover.. its a classic and should be left alone.. i totally dont see a point of making a remake of carte blanche.. that was totally uncalled for. |
