He gave the authorities the cash in like 30 min. Isn't he supposed to be bankrupt or something?

well he really only has to pay 10% of the 3 million. so thats 300,000 which is still a lot of money but when your micheal jackson thats a drop in the bucket...

cash as in not land or stocks and bonds etc....trust me no one just has 3 million put away in the bank...most have their money invested or in something they own.
