1) I realise the wording was a bit ambiguous... I'm not saying everyone in the US is a right-wing wanker - If I had said that, it would have been an ignorant generalisation. I'm saying there is a very loud and seemingly influential group of right wing wankers in the US and I'm saying "imagine how THEY would react". Hence it's not a generalisation - no-one from any country could deny having any right-wing wankers... we've got plenty down in Aus too, it just seems they're not as influential or numerous as they are in the US.
Just like me saying: "imagine how the rugby fans in Britain will react to the world cup win". It's not saying that all Brits are rugby fans... It's not even saying that there are a lot of rugby fans in Britain.. all its implying is that there are SOME rugby fans in Britain and I would be interested in imagining how they would react.

Abercrombie and Fitch sucks big time. Clothing tailored for American suburbia with a provincial sense of fashion. I'm not interested in even looking at the ad campaign, but AF will always be in my mind a reactionary and conservative style of clothing. If they want to be suggestive they should incorporate some 21st century ideals and be little more risqué and creative, because frankly all of the suburban wear, from the preppy to the slutty, looks the same to me. Variation and originality are totally avoided by AF, Gap, J Crew, the emo bull from Urban Outfitters that pretends to be original but ends up being the same etc. No originality at all.
I'll stick to my Pumas, Diesels, and Dutch eurotrash Tiesto-style shirts anyday, thank you. :cool: |

I wear a lot of A&F Clothing for the same reasons people wear other clothing. Because I've never found a clothing line that fits me so perfectly. It's ing expensive as hell, which pisses me off, but the quality is there nonetheless. If it wasn't so damn trendy maybe it would be cheaper.
And the whole "If it's not underground it's lame" is old and worn out. Get a new line. |

Who gives a about what clothing companies are what and who wears what.. why waste time crying about whos better or whos who.
i love wearing abercrombie clothes.. why? cause they fit great, look great, and are comfortable.. Thats MY CHOICE.

Personally, I don't see how those sexual pictures and 'lifestyles' depicted in their catalogue/magazine or whatever would make me want to buy their clothes.
