Amazing vid Cyrus! much respect to you for creating this. I'm kicking myself for not stopping by Ibiza while in Europe this summer (had planned on going but backed out since funds were getting low) After watching this, I am pretty sure thats where I'm going next summer. I emailed this out to a few friends who are planning to visit Ibiza sometime in the near future. I'm sure they'll love it.

Did this video by any chance get aired on TV? A friend in Malayasia told me he saw a good documentary on Ibiza a month or so ago and it made him want to go there.

anyways see u at the next party!

thanks..

i just finished this, so it hasnt made its way onto tv yet.

I was in Ibiza for 10 days.

That spanish girl was sooooo funny.. she was too high and drunk she told me after.

That scene was actually 7:30 AM after i came back from a club... i heard drums on the beach and followed the sound... and there they were..

they were really happy people

I am a graduate of film school, but documentaries are not my thing...this was my first and last time. I want to make movies that tell compelling stories.

This project was for myself to do.. it wasnt for school.

But thanks for the advice.

Thanks a lot for this! Comments will follow as soon as I've watched it.

Holy Crap I'm utterly impressed!

Like UVM said, this comes off as a highly authentic view on the ibiza "spirit" much more than any wannabe-documentary on "clubbers" you see on television. Just shows how people from "inside" the scene are the ones who can also adequatly portray it, instead of some journalists who're full with prejudices.
As for the style it was done I can also just give you props. Gave me gossbumps severeal times - nuff said
This must be aired on TV, seriously.

Oh, and how did you get to interview armin and j00f, or the permission to film inside the clubs?

Anyway, I'm still an ibiza virgin but its films like these that make me slap myself for not going yet. :whip:

Would you mind if I shared this on other techno boards?

Hey Trancegiant, thanks for the compliments. Of course you can share it.

With respect to the interviews, I can only say tht Armin van Buuren couldnt be more of a nice guy than he was. I contacted him throughhis label and then he told me where to meet him on a certain day.

He is super nice and really appreciate him taking the time to answer my questiions.

JOOF, was just as nice too. I just asked him and he was more than ok with it. And that was after his set.:D
