Which VSTi's have an arpeggiator and which have good "layered patches" (multis)?!

Hi,

I was wondering if everybody could list here the VSTi synths that have an arpeggiator. Also mention how good the arpeggiator is, like if it has lots of interesting rhytmic patterns and not just the basics and if it has latch, if it the arpeggiator is programmable (like on the Triton I believe), etc..

Now that I think of it, aren't there any dedicated arpeggiator plugins or something?!

Another thing I would like to know if there are VSTi synths that work more with multis instead of single patches, like the multis or performances you find on many hardware synths. Maybe you can also list them here to get a complete overview.

Well, to make an arp, you can open up the step sequencer plugin. Are you using Cubase?

Basically, you want to go into the midi insert fx rack and find the arp or the step sequencer. In cubase, you have both. Don't know about other programs. In Cubase, if you have the step sequencer as a send instead of an insert, you can then send it off to multiple synths for mega arps.

Vaz has its own arp, as does z3ta+ (i think), but you can always use a plugin if it doesn't. You can also use them for hardware if you want to make your own arps, just put the step sequencer plugin on your harware designated midi channel.

As for software having multi patches, what's the point of having a fidly multi patch when you can just create another instance of that synth with another patch. In hardware, you can't just click a button and have another synth appear, but you can in software.
