1 - Pizza.... hmm doesn't have to be circle... my godmother used to make square pizzas.. :P so there.. dun worry webby.. they are the one's who aren't thinking outside the square.. :P
5 - Half a hole would take half the time... 3 hours... but if were talking in a real world situation.. it would take 6 council workers 3 hours to dig half the hole, 3 watching and 3 digging.
BUT... if its the council in my area...
It would take also 6 workers, they would take 6 hours to dig half a hole, 1 digging, and the other 5 watching... :D |

The small pizza has a diameter of 10" and therefore an area proportional to 10^2. The large pizza has a diameter of 14" and therefore an area proportional to 14^2. If the pizzas are priced in accordance with their areas, then
Price of large pizza / Price of small pizza = (14 / 10)2 = 1.96 or Price of large pizza = 1.96 x 3.99 = 7.82.
Thus, Discount on large pizza = [1 - (6.26 / 7.82)] x 100 = 20 %.

If all 4 walls face south that means your at the north pole (or your looking inside the house at the south pole?!) which means you very well might see a polar bear!! :D |
