Any raves/parties in Norway coming up?
It's been ages since the last in my part of the country. I believe the last was in June (SommerParaden 2003)...
Now, I'm thinking large, 500+ people (and preferably 3000+)... |

| Forget it. Noone in Norway has the guts to throw a big party anymore, mainly due to paranoid cops, rabid scare-mongering media, huge risk and the general decline in Norway's club life at the moment. Metropolis was a miserable failure organization wise, and I doubt anyone would like to continue on after them considering the giant failure that that event was. |

Yeah, Tiesto was even here in Tønsberg once!
However that club got shut down because of faltering beer-sales.
They charged 15 kr for a glass of water, right before it got closed down... You get the drill.
I'd say Metropolis was a success, I was clubbing there, luckily I didn't work :) Music in the lounge was really sexy house and in the hardhouse room, they played funky techno/hard trance and some limited hard house... Nice, very nice. I'm not going to say anything about the mainstage tho :D
There's always small things happening in Oslo, but I don't feel like blowing of 1000/1500kr just to get one normal night out in Oslo.
Trulz&Robin/Nils Noa/G-Ha/Vidar Kroken and so on are good, I wish they'd tour the country a little bit more :) |
