My dad still maintains contacts within the gov't so he gets heads up on job opportunities and the such ... anyway, he just forwarded me this job opening:

The Special Weapons Programs and Analysis Division (the Nuclear and WMD Planning and Response Department) of SAIC and its parent organizations support the U.S. Government examining critical issues affecting U.S. national security. From offices in McLean, Virginia, our organization conducts a broad range of sponsored and independent research. Seems interesting enough ... not exactly my field, but I figured that maybe I can play up my economics degree, policy/history classes, and submit my resume for the hell of it :)
I wonder if I'd have to resign as vice-president ...

hey occrider when you get the job, be sure you let me know... I'm always looking for more people on the inside in the DoD espeically regarding such issues to keep and provide an eye on the information that might be valuable to my country;)

Are we really supposed to be surprised that you "might" consider working for the government?
Let's see if I can beat you to the punch on your "possibilities" for career positions. Stop me if I'm getting a little far ahead...
First you apply for Entry-Level National Security Analyst,
then comes, say, Senior Level NSA,
then, oh I don't know, say, National Security Advisor,
and then you'll probably tell us that somehow, someway, YOU'RE THE FREAKIN' VICE PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!
Fess up, man. You, by chance, currently working for Halliburton, aren't you? I saw the way you defended them in that Dean Economic thread!
