| Probably pubic/armpit hair is a remnant of humans' animal ancestors. |

Sperm need ideal temperatures to be created, so pubic hair helps keep stuff warmer...not sure why it'd be for women though...maybe it helps prevent infections too?
Everything on our body doesn't need to have a particular reason for its existence, either. Maybe armpit hair falls under the same category as your appendix. Or maybe it helps spread pheromones. |

I read somewhere that appendix isn't actually useless, it has things to do with immunal system or something. |

| it's formed by testosterone, women produce small amounts of it, to balance out like, and that gives them short growths in pits etc, but men having more of it, grow it like mad, some more than others, it's all individual to the specific person |

The females in most mammals usually have hair or fur on their bodies if the males do. Furthermore, testosterone is not the main producer of bodily hair. If it was, eunuchs would have none, right?
Bodily hair grows in preprogrammed genetic ways, often in response to hormones at certain stages. Testosterone can stimulate hair growth in certain cellular areas with testosterone receptors, but is not the source of it.
Some girls have some pretty massive body hair too, as well, but it's just shaved. >_> |

eh I believe it is for trapping like germs n such. I remember a teacher telling us that when girls shave their taco the chance of a yeast infection rises by some high percentage that I can't remember.
So it is for protection, I guess it kinda works like nose hair, trapping in the air. |

sperm develops ideally under cooler conditions to body temperatures that is why your sack can change how close it wants to be to the body. |
