LOL,isn't having light cans a good thing? Why would they cause a problem?

I have a pair and I love them. I haven't noticed the weight being a problem at all.

lol i know man...i have the 700s and the pioneers felt strangely light when i was wearing them
i just didnt like it...it felt weird

i know what he means. you get like a "theres something missing"
feeling on your head. its like theyre TOO light (speaking from
a similar experience, never worn HDJ1000s) but its like getting
used to drive a car with a TOUGH steering wheel. when you get one
with a soft one, you feel like you're overpwering it, like you
need more resistance.

Oh okay, I can't relate becuase the HDJs are the first real pair of headphones I've bought. I guess it's like swinging a baseball bat with the weights on when you're on deck right? =)

Enjoy your new headphones.

Cheers.

what's the difference between the 1000's and the sdj-5000's? There must be something more than just the looks?

i'm in love.

Hehehe... that's because the V700's are too heavy, lol... one of the other bad things about them... (unnecessarily heavy and uncomfy...)
