bizzare photoshop problem

ok so ive got ad-aware and anti-virus programs. ran them recently. everythings fine.
-BUT, everynow and then when i go into photoshop the font size doesnt seem to want to go above 45. This is bizarre considering the fact that all I usually have to do is restart.
I know that this doesnt sound too serious but help would be much appreciated thanks.;):):)
P.S
Just thought i'd let you's know about another thing that happened recently... my icons all of a sudden decided to change to other icons
Example: wav files to the Fruity Loops icon
txt files to the Hoyle Board Games icon, etc...
But i'm pretty sure that this was before I ran ad-aware so all is good:) |

| My Mac used to run fast till I installed Norton's Anti-Virus package on it. Then it became real sluggish. Had to do a clean install of the OS in order to remove all Norton components, but once removed my pewter was fine and dandy again. It's best not to add too many third-party software components on your computer. Keep it minimal as much as you can. |
