sorry guys.. I totally exceeded the 50gigs/month bandiwidth limit on the site.. (looks @ cyrus king ;)) so my webhost has decided to shut down the site till I dunno when which is UTTER BS! I'm guessing till the end of the month. I've been mass emailing support and have been getting no reply so until then i'm screwed.
I know there's close to 3000 pics online, and no worries there is no data lost or anything ;) just going to take a little bit of time getting this badboy back online..
until then I'm looking for a new webhost! Can anybody find me a good host, with good support
50gigs+ bandiwdth /month
1+ gig of space
for less then $10US ??
anyways sorry again guys, I know a lot of you rely on the site for pics, and other things -- I will have it back up and running as soon as possible!

I've found www.ipowerweb.com
They seem to have just about all the features you will need.. its an American company but the prices are still cheaper then most web hosting providers in Canada.

I do have to admit so far up until me exceeding my bandwidth limit (which was my fault) my webhost has been quite good. And very accomadating since they turned the site back on eventhough it's exceeded the 50 gig limit by 2gigs!!

support takes roughly 24 hours, but the guy Rick who I think runs the show altogether is pretty cool and VERY accomodating if you mildy threaten him that you'll switch hosts ;)
I have there business plan which was actually $7.95U.S a month.. and now is 10.95U.S
50gigs bandwidth, 1 gig of space, unlimited POP email, unlimited Mysql database's, unlimited sub-domains, unlimited FTPs
go check them out.. I think i'll probably end up staying with them for now just becuase the problem was MY fault not there's and they still accomodated for me, plus I can't seem to find a better deal then this .. and i've been checking lazily mind you, all morning.. |
