getting first setup

| Im new to forums and would like to welcome myself. Anyway I have been learing to DJ through a friend of mine that has the works. Now for christmas i will be getting my first set of turntables and some other equipment. Since my family doesnt have that much money to spend i was looking at the Gemini FirstMix 3.0. What are your guy's thoughts on this setup?Also what do you else do you think would be needed to help get me started. Thanks for your help |

hmmm....I find myself very skilled finding the cheapest possible websites that sell a certain product. I dont recommend you going with Belt drive turntables because simply, they are crap. but at the same time im not the person to say, Oh get technics and thats all there is to it, Not everyone can afford them but I can recommend you a good alternative that should be adequate until you save up enough money to buy a better setup.
What is your budget? I can help you find a pair of decent direct drive turntables and a good mixer to start off with. |

| probably no more than 450-500 on a setup we dont have that much cash, and i would like to get some other equipment or i would bump up the limit |
