Hey team, i am looking for some chilled trance with an uplifiting feel.
Stuff like Nalin and Kane- Beachball.
Can you guys post your favorite chilled trance singles? Thanks |

if you're looking for chillout...cafe del mar's volumes 8 and 9 are absolutely beautiful...
i think 10 is out but i haven't heard it yet...
i also really like william orbit's strange cargos cd...very soothing |

Hey man i was looking for exactly the same thing!! I started a thread called "songs with beach theme" a couple of days ago and that has many suggestions for songs.
For songs like Nalin & Kane - Beachball, I suggest:
Solid Sessions - Janeiro
ATB - The Summer (not trance, but still good)
ATB - Beach Vibes (same as above)
BT - Remember (or try Flaming June, a classic track)
BT - Dreaming (Lucid's 12" Club Mix)
Pretty much all of ATB's stuff has that chilled-out, summery feel to it. I would say that you should try getting some of his tracks. Check out one of his CD's if you like (e.g. Movin' Melodies, which i own). Some other good ATB tracks to get would be "Too much rain", "Kayama", "Movin' Melodies" or "sunburn", which is a really cool track with steel drum sounds in it (you know like that West Indies style drum)
Some tracks you for summer you might like to try are:
Oceanlab - Clear Blue water
Pnau - Follow Me
Paul Van Dyk - We are alive
DJ Tiesto - Honey (Chicane club mix)
Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar
Safri Duo - Baya Baya
Plummet - Damaged (Antillas Remix)
Bob Marley vs Funkstar Deluxe - Sun is shining
Libra Presents Taylor - Anomaly (Calling your name)
Also try some Delirium, Chicane or maybe Nalin & Kane tracks for more songs similar to "Beachball"

Dont you think this genre needs a name! I want to devote my life to this kind of music.
Ok i am going to spill about the best set of chilled out trance.
its Dj Dawn- at the beach (an active on TA). Its wierd how we both wanted more songs like beachball
Is there any place where i can find this kind of music in mp3 singles?

*EDIT* By the way, i wouldn't call it "chilled out trance" although i think that is a good description of it. I think songs like Nalin & Kane - Beachball would be called "progressive". |
