the problem of synth (lead) melodys is that they remind me 'dance' music. :rolleyes: (like technotronic hehe)
donīt know about you, but chord progressions (things like G-C-D-G) were already exhaustly used in pop/rock/dance music - try to avoid these very common chord sequences.
I think itīs important to search for differents timbres.
