Comments as I listen.
That first sample whoosh you use sounds really cool, but it has some white noise in the background that just drops out at 10 seconds when the clip ends. Get a cleaner sample, or add delay to it so that it doesn't just drop out all of a sudden.
Good pads.
The breakbeat is good, but the snare needs to be WAY louder. Right now the kick dominates it in a major way.
Bassline isn't my cup of tea. Could be louder and maybe a little more distorted too.
Pretty good percussions.
Love the hook, really nice and clean sounding.
Good drive to the track, but I would really like some other bass layer. Add something on top of the single off-beat bassnote that you currently have.
Good pads in the breakdown. Really like em. 3:36 it sounds out of key for a second though.
Good sound to the lead, like it a lot.
Again, that breakbeat needs about 4000x more snare ;)
Sounds great after buildup.
Good job on the remix. My main suggestions would be to seriously beef up the bassline and get a new snare for the breakbeat. It could also use a few more filler sfx kicking around in the background a la original. Keep it up! |

Hey Luke
Well powerfull Kick like always, percussion is tight!, synths are very nice..
only thing i think is, that buildup(lead) does not match the climax..but i think that, that is a matter of taste . |

cheers for the feedback, i kno there is quite a bit to be sorted, that even u lot have missed out on like the click b4 the string break bit :p
the whitenoise whoosh thing is sampled from my kc and the cable i have atm is and mono, but that will be getting fixed, it aint noticeable on the lead coz i think the synth covers teh same freq as the hiss
the snare was quiet on purpose, it seemed to work in ferry vs thrillseekers - sublime anyway
massive mate, the idea of my build was not to match the melody because all the other remixes just use the melody as a build, thought i would try summat a bit different.
anyways, cheers for the feedback, mite finish if i can be arsed :) |

hmmm.. kinda like the breakbit, but think it need's more snare's or something... sounds kinda empty
the bass need's something more.. either just a phatter one, but maybe just put something more over it
otherwise it sounds niice :)
would like too hear a faster version thou :) |

A quiet snare is fine with a kick that matches it. IMO, the kick you're using uses too much high/mid end for a snare that's that quiet. Just one suckah's opinion though! |

good remix.
a bit standard as somebody else said, but i like what you did with the melody in the build-up.
synths are massive as well.
good effort! |

| I like the breakbeat part a lot, the entire track sounds very good, the only thing I didn't like was the speed, could be a bit faster, otherwise excellent remix. |

Hey Luke...sorry for the delay!
The tune...
Very good indeed, however the bass is very simple, and I didnt think it did the rest of the track justice! But sometimes simple is better!
The production is tops as usual so no complaints there, only problem I had was with the bass! Reminded me of PVD too much, and im not a massive fan of PVD and his basses :(
Anywhos, keep it up m8!
