Im stuck on figuring how this works..and I know theres several smart cookies on this board, so give it a go. I do apologize, however, if this is a repeat or an old link.

| These things are really nothing special - algorithms that will always give the same results are properties of certain operations (such as adding the digits of a number or forming another combination from the same digits). |

| OK, i beat the number thingy!! chose 1720 then to 7120. take them away = 5400. circle the 5 then number left = 4. the number dood said 5!! doh!! |

doesn't it say the number you picked is the one you circled?
Either way, that was bizarre. Probably the best algorithm puzzle i've seen.:eek: |
