Anybody see the final?? Classic stuff between Hendry and Stevens, both played well, although the pressure got to both of them towards the end.
Snooker's such a class game, best sport around methinks. I think i'll have a game.

I used to work at a snooker club cleaning 8 full size snooker tables, and taking care of another table in a private suite which was used for league match play.
Theres a lot more to it than u think!
just installed World Championship Snooker 2003... its a bit tricky to get the hang of, i don't even know how to direct the ing cue lol :stongue: |

I have always had a soft spot for Jimmy White. Has loads of character at the table. Glad Hendry got beaten. He had a bit of a monopoly on it at one time and i think he's too competitive and lacks character.
Was hoping to see O'Sullivan beat him, booo! |

Yeah Stevens deserved that win I think.
I'm not much of a pool fan, I like playing it but it's too easy coz the tables are so small, and none of my mates challenge me, hehe. It's like playing with marbles!!

matt stevens won 10-8 against steve hendry yeah!
quality match imo, although i felt a bit sorry for hendry losing, but he got a nice check for 43 grand so the guilt dissapears.
im not a huge player of snooker, i prefer uk pool (reds/yellows/tiny table), as im better at it lots. |

I work at one now, bloody nightmare cleaning tables, but its fun ironing them hehe! Luckily dont have to do it very often.
Gutted Stevens won actually,he might have improved his hair but its no excuse :(
I play county pool. Beating england players is fun :D |
