my pc doesnt display red colour! plz help

ever since i bought my pc, anything which is supposed to be displayed as red is shown as black.
any help would be appreciated |

Here are some troubleshooting tips, as pretty much most of the answers above are somewhat useless :rolleyes:
1. Try plugging in a different monitor - if that works, well, you know the problem is with your monitor
2. Try using a different video card (buy from bestbuy or compusa, so u can return it if you don't have a problem)
3. Try checking your monitor's color settings and also try degausing it - most new monitors have a feature to do that (see your owner's manual)
4. Check your color schema on your OS - make sure you set it to default.

You can get monitor refill packs at your local computer store. But dont try to refill your monitor or it will cause the monitor to explode. :eek: |

I'm staring at these forums with the exact same problem, i've had it for a while. The screen keeps going normal again (sometimes after i've belted it) but then the reds fcuk up again. A shiney new TFT for xmas is in order methinks...
