Phono = Tuner = Decks
Line = CD player
Now, say I were to hook am MP3(ie Rio Volt) player up to my line in. Would that still work? Is it the same Freq as a CD player? |

| The only thing that you can hook up through your phono inputs are turntables because those inputs have a preamp and anything else that you try and hook up through them will sound all distorted.Just about anything else you can hook up through your line inputs (except for some microphones)But yes, you can hook up MP3, CD, Cassette, Reel to Reel, Dat and most everything else through the line input. |
