some major tunage last night from everyone!
me and my mate got in sometime after 12 i think after we wandered the city looking for the place lol, i thought it was near the other end of bourke st so walking down russel st we turned right instead of left haha but we eventually found it after we asked some security guys in the city where it was, who had to get on the radio and ask other people lol
chris was LUVIN IT! when we got inside, as the rush comes, awakening, i can't remember what else but was pretty good stuff!

hahah i was too busy organising some other people to come down when i forgot about my friends until they rocked up to my house at 10pm and were like we are coming...

my friend who isnt into trance at all "this doo di daa sounds familiar" HAHAH i nearly fell off the couch
and well i win the embarrassing moment of the night when i walked into the toilets and turn to my other friend at the top of my voice " Why is there a guy in the girls toilets"
Little did we know that when this "guy" walked past it was a girl :nervous: youd think all those times at girlbar i should of noticed straight away oh well
we had to leave when the street lights came on haha so i missed half the ing night which sucked so much, but it was good to meet euphoric-dream, i hope i didnt scare you too much :p

Well what can I say....that was an unbelievable night! Great seeing all the regular TA's and 5AM members in the same room! :) Euphoric dream, great meeting you and i'm glad you had a great night (and you enjoyed my set) as i'm sure everyone else did too!
The decore was excellent and hats off to Leigh & anyone else involved! IT was fantastic!
Leah and promoters did a fine job also and managed to enjoy themselves as well!
Albert Mangler and Tracey were on cloak room and cashier duties and still managed to have a dance and dance the night away!
Reuben Owen played a great opening set! He built the room up well and made a good go at his first gig with us! Go Reuben! :)
I played after Reuben, and I had the best time i've had in any club! Great sized venue, great DJ console (cosy, felt like I was at home :D) Excellent management and overall great vibe! My hats off to Altitude!! Luv it! :) Feels like my new home ;)

well i had a blast, and philber ive been buying lots of new records lately, but when you're playing at 4.30 am you kinda stop playing for the people and start playing for yourself (and of course mr philbert who never stopped dancing.. at all). at that point it wouldve been nice to play some new but as soon as i started to, the floors cleared, (played armin van buuren - from the heart, and nobody even moved).. so was forced back to the classics.. some people were requesting 'r2d2' and 'sandstorm' which kept me well entertained at the wee hours of the morning. id like to thank albert and the crew for giving me another chance to play and look forward to the next..
ps. bacon and egg mc muffin in the morning afterwords was a show stopper. |
