that website is tite. lol. i registered there cuz its a cool site about producing and then posted in that thread about getting a better bass sound (there were a lot of really good ideas in there i had never thought of before). if you wanna get some ideas on how to get better sound from your equipment / software that site is really cool, there is a lot of good information and not just bass but all kinds of stuff related to production.

edit: "that website" refers to the futureproducers.com lol

I just registered too! I thought I was the only one using those techniques! LOL! Since I'm from Miami, a lot of people I know have 'Sub Woofers' in their cars, and they like to bass all day. Some friends who know I produce wanted to have a bass CD, so I made many bass projects at the beginning of the year. I tried to use logic, and common sense when it came to that project, and I learned that EQing, Filtering, and such were VERY important to finding those right sounds w/out muddying everything out.

I've learned what kinda bass to make, and what NOT to make. Now, I sorta learned to perfect that 'bass' sound, but I still have a bit to learn. Some of the techniques there were cool like the Tremelo like 'LFO' feel. Or the Gliding, Bass feel. I never really thought of those effects, even though some of my VSTS have those options. I have no need to work with those effects yet, but I will for fun one of these days.

Great to see you register there too Extalin, cuz I just did too! :D -Mental
