Tsykhra - Airplabe/What Clouds Are Made Of - talented russian fella, please FEEDBACK!

here's this guy from a small provincial russian town of Belgorod, Tsykhra.
i fell in love with his tracks, and decided to post the links here. tell me what you think. awesome melodies. this guy, being 21 y.o, seems very talented. not only he came to produce such great tracks in a town where you have but one night club, he also created his own page ( http://digit.bel.ru , quite impressive), and has som great imagination.
look, how he describes his track Airplane:
0:15 - Engine starts
0:30 - Hauling to the take off zone
0:57 - Take off. Airplane dives into the free sky.
1:25 - 1:45 - Careless skydrifting
1:45 - 2:27 - Crazy tailspinning
2:28 - 3:22 - Gliding above bounless ocean, which mirroring surface astonishes the pilot
3:22 - 3:50 - Flying over Amazon waterfalls
3:50 - 4:19 - Erupting volcano!!!
4:19 - 4:53 - Everything's filled with energy
4:52 - 5:21 - Evening skyscape
5:21 - 6:03 - Going back at night
6:04 - 6:17 - Dawn
6:17 - 6:59 - Reminiscing about the seen
7:00 - Coming back to landing

the second track (What Clouds Are Made Of) is a great melodic trancer also with positive happy-crazy-beautiful melody! The guy himself says: "Too bad couldn't find the vocalist, cuz the track seems a little bit lengthy without the vocals".

Agreed, amazing production values on this, seems to be something going on non-stop, yet without sounding cluttered. The main synth could have been a bit more original, but other than that this is a truly magnificent track. Get this man signed! |

These are some excellent tunes here. I'm quite impressed! Very detailed without sounding muddy...and the production and sounds are flawless.
Get this guy registered on the board here so he can give us more stuff! :)
Could just be the 128 factor, but personally I'd like it if the kick was a little more pernounced in both tracks...if it had just a slightly harder punch to it.
At any rate, this stuff is fantastic. I'm feelin the Airplane track, more..but both are huge tunes. |

undeniable production skills. Airplane isn't really my style but it's a cool and very full sounding track.
What Clouds are Made of is awesome, excellent melody.

Interesting! Very interesting, and melodic work! I can see where this guy is coming from.
He's a romantic visionary. In other words he just doesn't make music, he 'sees', 'hears', and 'feels' music. I can tell from his style of precision and care.
That's a rare gift. He is definetly capable of pumping out heartfelt music from the soul, which is difficult to do, unless you have the talent of vision. It's a talent that can be refined with only time itself.
Some people are born with it - perhaps he is due to his setting. You said he has one club in his area? Wow - I guess he comes from humble beginnings. That is usually the cause of such inspiration, and it doesn't surprise that he utilizes it successfully.
Airplane is a deep, melodic trancer that shows him 'flying' or his 'soul' flying around the skies in an escape from reality. This is definetly his escape from the problems in this world. If he see's himself in a far off place, that is the only reason I can think of, because he doesn't wanna 'come down'.
'What Clouds are Made of', is another interesting work. Even though it uses a bit of cliched Trance elements, it incorporates great synths, and FX. I like his synth style, cuz he tries to go to unconventional route, while at the same time, grab your attention with each sound.
The bass melodies are very pretty, unworldly - being in another zone kinda feel, high up in the sky, peering up from the clouds, looking down on the earth itself. The synths are very pretty with their reso effects, and the part with the filtered synths is also one to mention.
Pads are great, and so is the chorus line - the driving part at aroundn 2:40 is beautiful and is another part of the song that doesn't shy away from expressing his feelings.
From these two songs I get the feeling of 'escape'. As in he wants to see other places, meet other people, and see the world - but at the same time, he seems like a humble guy. He doesn't mind staying where he is. That's just something I gather from him so far. A humble, shy guy. I could be wrong, but that is a guess. -Mental |

| im dancing in my chair here typing this reply listening to "what clouds are made of" this was excally what i needed to hear right now. i have been feeling a bit depressed but this song was lifting my sprits like nothing else. Its absoutly amazing. |
