| the best thing to do is to just rent a snowboard, if you like it, go buy a cheap snowboard, like K2 or something for about 400$ or even a lower quality board by Burton |

Well there are a few places to get a Board in Toronto
Sporting Life
http://www.sportinglife.ca/
its north of younge and eglington
:disbelief Hogtown Skateboard & Snowboard Shop:disbelief
401 King W Toronto
:whip: most of the good places are outside Toronto:whip:
BUT I STRONGLY suggest to do some good price shopping. If you are In Toronto, goto the two places above and get someone to help you pick a board. Once you find it go straight home and look on the internet for it. The internet gives you direct link to the makers of the snowboards and ebay is also another opition, sometimes you have to trust the person on the other end.
Im looking for a new board myself and this is what im doing.
:D :D :D Anyways good luck and see you on the HILLS :D :D :D |

I'm interested in boarding too and that's what I'm going to do, people told me that the first 3 times you will be on your ass, so make sure you buy good water proof pants |

however its too damn expensive to rent + lift every time. 60$+ /day? :eyespop: too much for me. is it possible to find a board w/ bindings n stuff for around 100$? that would make big difference! Btw slopes open next week.. how about first run on 14th dec? :) |
