You don't 'need' a keyboard, but it does help a lot. You would have to draw in the notes into the piano roll or arp, and the piano roll in cubase is a bit figity.
As for your second question, it does provide some synths but they're nothing special. You really do need to get some better ones once you get Cubase. |
