| Tomorow is my boyfriend and I's one year anniversary. I want to think of something nice for us to do but i am a bit stumped for ideas. We don't want to spend much money because we are both saving for school. We aren't really romantic at all and we have limited resources due to living in the middle of nowhere with no real access to anything worth mentioning. No, pizza and pr0n isn't the really what i was thinking of... can anyone provide any useful suggestions? and if you can't then crappy suggestions will do. |

Congrats on the 1 year anniversary
I would say just spend the day together, nice breakfast in bed, lunch and dinner out to eat at someplace nice, then a good movie at home, and sexual intimacy later on if u feel like it. |

I would make him a beautiful card...maybe paint or draw something just for him...or insert a nice picture of the two of you or just of you. And write a poem or a song or a letter...telling him how I feel and how grateful I am for him. How special he is to me. Then, maybe fix him his favourite dinner (candlelight if you two are the romantic types).
I like making cards and gifts for people instead of buying. And if you write your own poem or lyrics or a little essay, you're expressing your own feelings for him. Not borrowing someone elses.

Quite what I was going to say. After 1 year, probably you guys know each other a bit, so you could use this precious info to do something special. Use what you've got (such as sense of humour) and do something that you know he'll like.
Either pick something you're good at (for something rather romantic), or something you're terrible at (for something rather humorous). If you can't sing, for example, compose a song and sing it to him for a laugh (you might want to write the lyrics down in a card though, since there's no way to find out whether you two will make it till the end of the song :D). This way, he had fun (laughing at the music) and will have a cute memory (the card). Obviously, this song thing may not be a good idea but I guess you got what I mean :)

don't know where u are located, but if the weather and location permit, get some groceries and go on a picnic. bring a deck of cards and play strip poker out in the open;)
*EDIT* i didn't mean in front of a bunch of people...i meant go to a lake or something that is secluded and then play. |
