I got mine out in the summer and apparently I'm a bleeder. I had to suck on gauze for 4 hours after they were removed. Once the blood stopped flowing I was fine, as long as I took the pain killers.

yeah i've heard the day after's not fun
wonder how a date would be on percaset(sp?) :p
so weird tho cause one was half in, so there's just this big gap
makes me feel like a little kid, losing teeth :tongue2

man.. getting the out is fun during the operation.. man... i kept singing songs about my big hairy purple ass... lol... it's true! but then! it took two hours to get the pain pills and i kept complaining and my mom kept calling me a wussy... then when we got home i got so mad that i pushed the microwave off the table and put a hole in the floor. then she called the police and the police told her off (in a polite manner of course). then i ate nothing but ice cream for a week.. and i kept feeling dizzy and wondering why. it was cus i needed real food!

I've had about 12 pulled, not a bunch left. Too easy with the wisdom teeth. The ones closer to the front are harder to deal with.:toothless
Sorry, addendum here. Didn't read your whole thread. You have got to be ting me that you get an entire week of work off! I usually yank 'em and drive straight back to work!

It always makes me laugh when I hear people taking a week off after getting their wisdom teeth out, lol.

I have them but they're just never coming in. Last time I had teeth pulled, which was some years ago, it was 4 at once, and I blacked out shortly thereafter. :toothless Gotta love a reaction I can't even remember the name of.

Wow, I never thought there were so many people who had their wisodm teeth pulled out. Heh, I for one have never had a cavity in my life, and the last time I've been to the dentist was like 5 years ago. I used to go every year or so for regular checkups, and they were always telling me how great teeth I had, so I realized there's no point for me going there anymore. Well, all I can say to you is...haha suckers!!! :stongue:

I just had one of them removed an hour ago...
I was biting my cheek because of it and I was in excruciating pain. The anesthesia makes me feel weird. It's odd not being able to feel the lower right half of my face. *lol* The doctor prescribed some vicodin for the pain, so I should be out cold hahaha.

I also have an impacted wisdom tooth that needs to be removed but there's a risk that removing it could damage the nerve that lets me feel in my right side of my lip and chin :wtf:

I'll see about that.... I feel all weird now! Hope my pain goes away after this has healed :)

...that means I am 4x as stupid as everyone else because I had mine removed 8 years ago.
