I just read this on the THREE DRIVES ON A VINYL website...are they just talking about the NU-NRG mix when they say that it's being signed to the Vandit label with Additional work done by Paul Van Dyk, or do they mean that Paul Van Dyk is going to be doing a seperate remix of the song for THREE DRIVES... please clarify. Thanx

Three Drives - Carrera 2 gets UK & German release!!
Thanks to the tremendous DJ support from Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Johan Gielen, Ferry Corsten, Graham Gold (playlist Kiss FM), Paul van Dyk (a favorite on his radio show) and many others , their follow up of "Sunset on Ibiza" will get a deserved UK release through Virgin Records, who already proved that they can handle a good trance tune with the UK releases of Tiesto and 4 Strings. This UK release will feature an additional Paul van Dyk remix, who's about to sign this trance gem to his own label Vandit Records for the German territory......

This is just old news ... Paul was originally rumoured to be remixing it when it first got picked up by Vandit but knowing how lazy he is the work got left to NuNRG.

this news is from last dec. bro. unfortunately, i don't think there

will be a paul van dyk remix. there were "re-edits" from his older

sets though.

its good that paul was 'lazy' because nu nrg did a fantastic job. carerra and the eternal are both my favorites in remixing by them. i still love carerra nu nrg mix, i am less sick of that than some much newer tracks :tongue2

Bleh, Nu-NRG totally raped the beautiful original.
Their style just don't fit that tune.

Agreed.

Original is perfect the way it is. Nice ch00n with no fast paced synths, just beautiful melodies.

Three Drives - Carrera2 (Gabriel & Dresden remix)

Not as pumping as the original...
But beautifully hypnotic with a chilled out intro and a driving ending... those piano keys make this tune killer!
