Actually paid about £50 for an old John Lee Hooker record once as it was a present for a friend. Not sure if the record itself was worth that much but it was well recieved so that didn't really matter.
It would be very interesting to know how the price of old trance records will be affected over a longer period of time say 10 years?
Guess we will just have to wait...

I can bet that the good tunes that got played across the board... should become rare classics... depends on the people coming to the scene in 10 years time. We salivate at the thought of owning a record from say 95-99... as it was before the time we were collecting vinyl... will the younger Djs of tomorrow that come to trance, like to collect the classics that we are playing now? or will they just whip out itunes and play it off there??? |

Well, that's what makes me wonder. I have trance records from back then (94-95) but truthfully no one really seems to want them no matter how big they were then. Perhaps one of the major factors being that the BPMs were much slower and the overall production was poorer in most cases.
