I can honestly say being the biggest Danny Howells fan on the earth that tonight was the worst I have ever seen him. Too much drinking and socializing and not enough on the job he was there to do.
Pappa was as I predicted, a small dark club would suit him to a tee.

On a better note I was talking with him after and he mentioned that he def'n wants a System Sound Bar Gig early in the new year. He would rip System a new !!

Anyways good to see those that I always do there (Tara
- computer eyes, and MAtt), Karlo,
Also nice to meet highroller, mosiac and the others out there.

Where the f##K was tranegeek!!??

Even though I really shouldn't have gone (been averaging about two/three hours of sleep over the last two weeks because of the school/work thing -- and I've got a crazy-ass exam on Monday), I had to show for Anthony's set based on his 'Party of 2002' calibre set @ RedSquare last year. And, the man delivered once again. This time it was a kickass textbook opener from the man, with the end of the set having most of the KoolHaus up and rockin'. Moreover, Anthony was quite tight technically (this former world DMC champ is so underrated in that department!), and laid down some mindblowing mixes. And, although the KoolHaus was most defnitely not packed (close to full when we left, but everyone had LOTS of room), it turned out to actually was a good thing. Everyone was dancin' all kinds, and subsequently havin' a good time. What a rare treat @ Guv!

Shouts out to my partners in crime, John (you're great to chill with -- in' hilarious) and Tara (hahaha! was so fun watchin' you rock out so much!). Also to those I always see there too, Matt and Jen Shawzy ;), EricVagrant, Sohaness, Eso, Endlesswave, Highroller, InfinityHigh, Shaya, Trancegeek (hope you didn't freeze to death outside man :D), and anyone else...

Pretty good night in all, even considering that we left after Anthony was done :D:D:D:D:D

wow.

great night. due to matt needing sleep and me needing sleep and having that needed to be done today, we had to leave pretty early (right after pappa). Danny h has been one of my favorites for some time now..so when i saw him on stage in his cute little hat, smiling like he does i knew i was going to be missing a good set.

HOWEVER, I still had an amazing night. PAPPA rocked it. I'd never seen him live before and I was blown away. I spent almost his whole set rocking out in front of the stage. I made my own little crew of superfans. The KH wasn't too busy so i had tons of space to bust moves. My feet were really sore (yeah yeah..i shoudl wear runners not massive platforms)but I had such an amazing time..i liked the darker direction he took the set more towatds the end. When I got to meet anthony at the end of his set i went to shake his hand but i have him a big hug...i'm such a geek..but his set was just so good...

the company was great last night: big shoutouts to john for everything, to matt and jenn always great to see you guys, glad jenn and i both recovered enough to attend), chris, peter(IH), peter(ESO),shaya, steve (sohaness), trancegeek, graham, karlo and anyone else that i may have forgotten. The TA contingent wasn't huge, but it was a solid crew nonetheless.

I didn't end up going - I had a weird night and was dead tired. :(

Worst Howells set EVER.

Blue Monday was the only thing that woke me up..and even that didn't last long.. he kept losing the crowd and jumping around all over the place.. no flow.. no nothing.. meh.

Hm...great night...but the party itself lacked a lot of vibe. The place was filling up rather slowly (due most likely to the cold weather). Pappa had a great start...then went down a bit, but in the last 45-60 minutes, REALLY picked it back up. Those breaks were in amazing.

It was my first time seeing Howells, and I liked it, but I wasn't blown away. It was just good...nothing more. But I must say, that intro was :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: I was also really surprised to hear MDK - More Money, More Power...very nice track. Also, I think I drank a little too much, and then that joint killed me in the long run. I was nearly falling asleep around 4:00 :-\

TA turnout was less than I expected, real small number of us :) Overall good party, but nothing spectacular.
