thanks for the feedback fastdjmp3 and sylphin... :)

I think that on the field sounds much better than in the parking garage!

hey, is it safe to assume that this year's event will be on Sunday Sept. 2 ? I guess they should be making an official announcement soon, since the tickets started selling on Aug. 5 last year...
k.k.d.
hmm... got the Cream (pre-?) flyer...

it lists the aforementioned line out.. But it wont be at Stade Olympique... Instead, it will be at Parc Jarry....

tickets -> 45$ first 1000, next 4000 @ 60$, and the rest at 75$... VIP bracelets are for 90 bucks tho.. :(

hey guys
u know whats funny?

john acquaviva is scheduled to play at cream on september 2nd (according to www.johnacquaviva.com..so beware....i think that the lineup they presented might be for the entire festival (aug 23- sept 2)
we still don't know who will be playing on the final night of the festival
last year, max graham, ltj bukem, ritchie hawtin and aquaviva all played during the festival on the street but not at the main event.....so keep posted on who will actually play at "the main event" aka sept 2nd
Biggy
Exactly, i know many of these dj's will not play at Cream main event and some others will join also.
FASTDJMP3
Well it's a FESTIVAL not a rave or a "soirée"
That's why some of the dj's may not play in the main event , they'll probably spin in Club Sona
sylphin
can someone scan that pre-flyer.. I am too lasy to go all the way downtown and pick one up :)

delstar, yeah.. obviously that lineup is too good to be true, it *has* to be the lineup for the entire festival

sylphin
FASTDJMP3
Where can i get the flyer ? i'll scan one if i find it
delstar
i saw them all over the ground when i left oasis

they are white and lime green...like the posters at oasis

i can't believe they are putting it in jarry park..
i guess it has its good points and bad points.....
they is tons of space...maybe too much, it gives the illusion of always being 2/3 full......its not as hot at the parking garage at the big O! so thats good.....and i find the sound to be the best at the molson centre...not ear piercing..just good enough, jarry park (freaky) was too in loud for the venue..it was strange.
i went to snowball 2000 there and it was way to loud also.....but hey, you can't really complain about that right? :)
StereoPrincess
ohh its at the same place as freaky 2000?? i don't even know the names of tha venues.
FASTDJMP3
Parc Jerry , Montreal Nord , Metro Jarry or Crémazie i think

DJHappy
Very interesting Line Up, Timo Maas and pete tong woooooooooow. We should not forget our misstress, last time at the Bal en blanc she was awesome, I liked her set alot .

For the venue I know alot of people don t like jarry alot but personnaly I like it, very good sound and if they install the green laser, it s going to be awesome.

I only Hope that we don t feel like their is something missing as in OASIS.

Parc Jarry sounds coooool! What is the place normally for? Another baseball park? I'll make sure to bring earplugs...:eyes:

oh, and about the lineup, I got this from a 514 email yesterday,

"Don’t forget, end of August / beginning of September is our annual
Cream Festival... Join the 75 000 people that are drawn by this grand
celebration of electronic music. This year, once again, we promise all the best. Our closing event on September 2nd will feature Dave Seaman, Anthony Pappa, Timo Maas, Christian Smith, Pete Tong, DJ Maus, Misstress Barbara & Tall Paul."

All playing at the closing event!?!? that's AWESOME:toothless
