| i used to use audiograbber but they suck since you have to select certain tracks at a time. i want something that can rip cd's into one big mix file. say for example, if i had magik 6 and it had something like 14 songs on it but i want to rip it into one 74 min mp3. is there a ripper out there that does that? |

I dont know of any proggie that does that. Personally I use easy CD extractor. Does the job good enuf for me.
Just on a side note, Why do u wanna make it into a single track? |

| heh i just formatted my comp and i forgot to back up my own mix but luckily i do have a burned cd copy. unfortunately i burned with a cue file and well i extracted all the tracks and paste them together only to hear a glitching sound right at the moment that its supposed to skip tracks....very irritating....so i want a good program that can rip 1 single continuous file for me. i'm trying to send some of my stuff to people on icq. so.......heh what a hassle should have backed it up in the first place =P |

For ripping an entire mixed CD into one large track... look no further than using EAC (Exact Audio Copy).
http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/
Use Section A(ripping & encoding) of the tutorial in the "Live-Mix" section of http://www.r3mix.net to get you started
You should be all set after that. It might be a little more difficult to setup than other programs, but it's well worth it.. trust me!! EAC is the best ripping software to get. |

I use CDex.
Easy to use, outputs to folders are customizable, CDDB compatible, great all around.
