longest bedroom-dj set you've done (pg. 2)

I got a new set of ridiculous speakers in my room...so me and my roommate wanted to devirginize them to mixing...

We were drinking wine too, so we were in a really chilled out mood, so I started it out with some really progressive house, and we ended up very slowly building up the set because of the mellowness of mood. but the tracks we both really wanted to show off were hard progressive. So...basically it took forever to get there. 8 and a half hours later at like 5:30 in the morning we both were kinda drunk and passing out..so it finally ended. Definitely a good night though.

I've done 3+ hours, but it gets sloppy after I start getting tired!

My longest was 3hrs 41mins, but it was crap. I couldn't mix worth a damn that night. But each time I listen to it, the mixing sounds better than I thought. Who knows..

The better one I did before that was 2hrs 47mins. I had someone there with me too so that helped. It was actually a pretty good one.

i think i spun yesterday longer than i ever have before, it was about 5 hours.
Breeze
4 hours.
Prodigy Child
Just finished a 4 hour set...no biggie, my longest was about 9 hours, had a bunch of new records, and the day off, and didn't have to do anything, so I just went at it starting at about 2pm.
DJ Lazy
2 hours.
not long, but it is my longest so far...

Ive got enough records to probably play a straight 20 hour set :p

heh but the longest ive ever spun was maybe 2 hours. For me it just gets boring mixing and all im looking at is the wall.

BTW Nuclear.. hope you can make those 24 hours! Insane but much respect to ya if you can ;)

Indeed, looking at a wall makes it boring, that's why I invited some friends over when I did a 8 hour set at home :D

3 hours is the longest i've done but i'm going to try a six hour set that i will broadcast thru my winamp player soon.

2.5 hours... any longer than that and i become stressed, nervous and annoyed...

I guess it's because i don't have a lot of records and after 2 hours i've got to start playin crappy records :)
