Hell yeah that set absolutely rocked! I remember us agreeing on the night about it definately being the set of the year.
I actually just saw him 2 weeks ago when he came back to Australia. He remembered me from the last time he came out and I had a nice chat with him. He's such a nice guy and very modest as well. |

i heard a set of his from ages ago and i agree, but recently... i dunno, he must have been practicing or something, cause he can sure as hell dj now (checkout his liveset on jjj - 05-10-03 which was mixed live in the jjj studio) - as for his productions he's nothing short of amazing. |

The man is brilliant, nuff said. And Balance 005 Mixed by James Holden is simply.....WOW.....one of my all time favorite albums....simply beautiful. And if you don’t believe me you can Click Here and read for yourself. Here is some of what the review says....

sound work , creativity and artistry.
As I dj , I heard only sets but I loved them ,also his balance 005 cd is amazing...

| wudnt really call Holden prog,more prog trance than just the normal chin stroking prog,ive went to the last Melodica gig that Holden was at,in brillant night,its unreal how sound and nice holden is,hes bang on and doesnt carry a superstar dj ego like some dj's aint that right Oakey,anyway hope to see ye NYE,get a ticket for it asap,club only holds around 300max,nice sweaty underground feel! |
