due for release sometime in January
I think Im gonna be grabbing me one of these

my work made me an offer I couldnt refuse for my Denon DN-9000/Pioneer DJM3000

plus they hooked me up with some really cheap CDJ800s which are amazing - superior to the DN9000.

anyway though, Im stuck with my old mixer again, the Behringer VMX300 - and Im thinking about the new Denon mixer due for a near release. what do you guys think of it?

The basics:
4 channel mixer (total of 8 between phono and line)
Each channel fader is assignable to any channel
balanced XLR out
digital coaxial out
unbalanced master,booth,record out
2 mic inputs, each with their own 3 eq bands
8 second sampler with loop, reverse and pitch!(+-100%)(44.1khz,16bit)
full effects system (10 total effects)
full digital dot matrix readout
booth output is assignable to individual channels or master
crossfader curve (rotary!)
crossfader channel assignable (duh)
external effect 1/4" outs/ins
12" total width, you can also buy a 19" rack mount
usb connection! for software upgrades and trading info with other denon equipment. also for downloading new effects into the system that dedno will have on their website !!!!

min. advertised price on AGIpro is $899 USD

dartman
i care, it looks like a nice mixer. when it comes out and people use it and review it i will care even more. btw.... what does this thing do that the djm 600 or tascam x-9 cant do? just wondering.

booth channel assign
penny & giles faders (amazing)
8 channel matrix (you can have the same signal on more than one channel faders, allowing one to be normally eq'ed and the other to be processed/effects/eq'ed/amazing things can be done with it
digital readout
USB port for downloading free new effects
separate headphones EQ (done through the digital readout)
8 second sampler with Loop, reverse, and pitch control +/-100%
sampler can be assigned to a side of the crossfader
mics both have their own full EQ's
rotary controlled crossfader curve for more control of the slope
channel fader curve
more than one channel per crossfader side allowed

um... some other things too probably that I cant think of right now

Im kinda selling myself on this thing with each post I make :o

I can't wait til it comes out. Functions are awesome and it looks really cool. For me it's between that and a djm3000 with a rotary kit.

I'm also intrested in this mixer, the features look awesome, but I've heard some complaints about some of there other mixers having fader trouble and the cue meters not setup up like they should, so I'm gonna wait and see what people say when they get it, and i'll go from there.
