what is your solution to stopping stupid posts like you stated above...nobody on here can control what someone posts unless each person who makes dumb comments is banned or suspended... |

uh welcome to chillout room, if you wish to discuss music, goto the 'music discussion', if you have something to say about your local area then go to that forum. this is the chillout forum, dont forget that this is where people "chill out", so if you dont wanna "chill out" here then go find somewhere else to spend your time instead of bitching about it in the chillout room. chillout room = everything goes

Good point, but then again having just serious discussions on here... well it just would seem cold and heartless
I appreciate the inside humor and jokes posted on TA and I'm glad we have such a diverse blend of humour and ideas.
Saying that tho.. I agree with Omegasox too. Some threads can be entertaining and can make u smile while others can make you wonder at the idiocy and boredom that many TAs have.
sorry if it seems like im on the fence about this topic here, i try not to get in debates too often. :p |

At first I wanted to see how many people who had responded somewhere in this thread to "chill out", "not take the internet seriously", "ignore stupid threads if you don't like them", "you're a computer geek" etc ... would either
a) get that it was a joke
b) post in it and prove themselves to be hypocrits :p
I guess I was just bored and wanted to prove a point, but then I closed the thread because it wasn't going to do any good.

Anyone who makes comments like that is clearly missing the point in my opinion. Just because someone is concerned about ta, and is expressing an opinion on what/how users post, does not make them a 'fukin internet geek'. I find it ironic that many of the people saying that have conparable post counts to yours, and therefore, by their logic, they too are 'fukkin internet geeks'. |
