thank god they pulled that fire alarm during my comp.sci exam today... pffft, kicked us all out from the gym for 15 mins, which was enough time to "fill in the holes" regarding the questions on the exam, so by the time we got back in (and they figured it's a false alarm) most of us knew sumthin' sumthin' that we didn't know 15 mins before that.
And luckily, they didn't cancel the whole exam, just let us finish it... plus they added extra 15 mins for the lost time!
Props to whoever pulled that fire alarm... |
wow, I wish that would happen at UofT.. I kinda really needed to fill one of the holes on last night's exam.. |

Well, it happens at "REAL" universities as well, LOL.
Happened last term during my "Group Theory" exam.. They kicked us out for 30 mins, but then gave us extra 30 minutes and let us continue. Everybody was pretty fair though - people didn't really share answers with each other. But that's how Waterloo is - nobody wants to help each other, it's way too competitive. |

That's why I gave up on UofT... too goddamn competitive and everyone was being a bit too "fair", and I wasn't willing to spend a few years getting my education in a place like that.

Really, what program u in at UW ? Im in tha accounting program, and maybe its just cause we like only 150 ppl and pretty much everybody knows everybody, but we're all over telling everybody else the answers we got and discussing the exam... everybody helping everybody....
For one of our acc courses this term, the final was supposed to be in class, but some tard pulled tha damn alarm, like 3/4 the way into it, so guess whut.. .YUP... cancelled, now we had to offically write the exam in the examation period... and it got thrown between two other accounting exams (which are already LUMPED really damn close together, always in the first 1/2 of the period... and since we only have acc courses pretty much this term....)... so THAT JUST SUCKED DICK.........
oh well, one of the 'experiences" of Univeristy life, right? :D :( |

I'm in CS - 2500 people competing for 1500 jobs.
Accounting is slightly different, cause, as you said, you guys are all in the same class and know each other well. |
