That says a lot....and no matter how much you say the Leafs have a better team this year, bla bla bla...they still won't win it. That's something Montreal always used to win without....a high payroll. |

Typical Leaf fan jealousy...it's as simple as that.
You know...in 2 or 3 years, when the mid 30 something Leaf players become 40 somethings...it'll be the 70's and 80's all over again. I can't wait. Death to all Toronto teams. |

Why is it a bit much that I hate Toronto teams? I dislike the Leafs (though, I think I would cheer for them against certain American teams), I can't stand the Argos, I ing absolutely HATE the Blue Jays...and I think basektball is e anyway and couldn't give a damn about the Raptors.
Not all London area people are died hard Toronto fans. I like to party there...but that's about it. |

I'm a Habs fan and a Yankee fan...Toronto is the enemy. But in general, I just don't like Toronto teams....I like the city itself, but not the teams. |

| please people dont fool yourself.. you're just going to dissapoint yourself for the 37th year in a row. trust me. your defense is absolute brutal e. and its not going to hold up in the playoffs. do you think bryan marchmant and aki berg are going to win you a cup?!:stongue: :stongue: belfour is going to get 70 shots a game again in the playoffs and he'll save maybe 67 or 68 of them and the leafs will obviously loose. we all know whats really going to happen. owan nolan will suddenly have a mysterious back injury, darcy tucker will get suspended for biting someone's groin, gary roberts will get a yeast infection (:conf:!?) mogilny's wife will finally admit shes slept with every other player on the team, sundin will finally atmit he's gay and will start randomly groping other players on the team and belfour will start crying one game because he forgot his name. I mean people you can get excited if you want but you are only hurting yourselves. i kind of feel bad actually that your team teases you like this. deep down you know whats going to happen though and it pains you.. I know i know.. the sens didnt win the cup last year. a presidents trophy and one game away from going to the cup it definitely a let down. but you know what given that our team had one of the lowest payrolls in the league and was on the verge of bankruptcy im pretty happy with that. I have to give toronto maple leafs fans so much credit though really i have alot of respect for you. I mean to loose year after year when every year its tagged your year to win and to have a payroll of $300 million and to buy every player you like and still loose it must be absolutely humiliating showing your face in public and admitting you're support for the team. How do you do it? I mean i would hide my face in utter humiliation and embarrassment if i was a fan of such a shameful organization. I sincerely have the utmost respect for fans of that shameful perrenially underachieving team. seriously though way to go guys |
