Should my CDJ800s be making sounds?

not sounds in the sense of playing the music :o
my CDJs have quite an audible spinning/loading sound when there is a disc inside and the volume is turned down. I didnt really have this on my Denon DN-9000, Im guessing its because the Pioneer's dont use CD trays, so there is no real barrier to block the sound of the spinning CD. anyway though, sometimes the sound is quiet, sometimes its a little louder - is this normal?
it sounds kinda like a fast ticking
and its really not audible unless you have the volume turned down almost completely
other CDJ owners/users help! should I be worried? |

It does make a "sound" i guess you can call it when the CD goes in the slot, but no sound coming out through the speakers if that's what you mean... otherwise I have no experience with your problem. I'm thinking you mean that it one CDJ makes noise while the other is playing a song? Best bet is to call Pioneer Tech. Support if you don't think it's supposed to make that noise. Sorry man. |

I usually see them for $650, but bought two new for $549 each, they should be coming in the mail today :D |
