I was ban from TA a long time ago under my "raversuge" account for sharing stuff i wasnt suppose to; lets not go there ;)

Anyway.... about the sasha vs. Sander K thing... heres my opinion:
In the past i've liked sasha... A LOT... hes been in my top 3... but this party is cheese cutter... sasha has played the same stuff for the past like 6 months... Sander K on the other hand plays very original stuff at EVERY live event... sander k is a very "live event" type of guy.... also.... the difference between avalon and arc environment will be very simple.... the arc environment is gonna be a lot more friendlier!!! avalon is gonna be packed because even mainstream people know sasha... it'll feel more of a public kind of a environment if you know what i mean.... mainstream people <<<<- bah! (people who dont know anything about trance ;) ).... arc on the other hand will have a much more "underground" feel to it and will be a A LOT less packed... please make sure to check out:

before making your decision; i know sasha has amazing ch00nz as well.... i worship the guy... hes one of my favorites... i'm a complete prog head.... but the one to go see LIVE is definitely Sander K.... sasha is #5 dj or somethin... sander k is #13.... remember its a popularity contest... ;)... listen to sander's essential mix.... Sasha's party will be $60!!!! sander k's is $35 at www.ticketweb.com (club arc)... Both parties should be great... but i'm attending sander k without a question.... i'm ready to dance in the underground scene and totally let go with some actual dance floor space... avalon will be too packed for me... join us at arc and we'll have a TA meetup before hand to get ready to LET GO!!!!

| trust me theres no worrys about getting there early.......I know all the managment from the club and staff and you will be allowed in at anytime......you def wont have to worry about that.......just come down there and have some fun with some sick beats.......all the new years ar arc even though no drinks there its so much fun u come there drunk and all people just having a good time.This def worht checking out hope to see u all there. |

Your reasoning is ludicrous. The only reason you're not going to Sasha is that you're not old enough to get into Avalon and don't really have a choice. :stongue:
Anyways, I'm not going to neither because I will be thousands of miles away in the Caribbean. Sasha and Sander both great. Arc is definitely a more chill environment. But Sasha is Sasha.... |

I have to agree. Although I will be at Sasha, and I'm clearly not old enough to be in Avalon. Ferry was awesome there wouldn't miss Sasha for anything. Rules like 21+ were made only to be broken :whip:

i will agree with the notion that sander's essential mix from this year is awesome. i have yet to see sasha however, and it has been more than a year since sasha has been in ny. sander was my first choice for NYE until my friends wanted to see sasha at avalon and i guess that was the deciding factor. wasn't gonna go to arc by myself, even tho it would've been a rocking time. and if what that poor lonely avalon employee in their office/backroom said is true, then we'll get to experience BOTH sasha and digweed in one night! and yes, hopefully sander will be at arc in february. i will rock the house with him then. but it must be sasha for new year's eve :D and all those things u said about the arc environment. so true so true :happy2: |

im still not decided. as much as i want to see sander k, sasha doesn't play often, and going by the three times i have seen him in the past, he is truly amazing and is very a much mindblowing live DJ.
as for digweed on new years, no.... he is spinning at avalon in HOLLYWOOD and then at 4am afterhours at some LA party that has DJs like oakenfold, howells and others the same night. |
