Did anyone see this ceremony today???
Iam very proud of her,she is hero.It is because of poeple like her that makes me proud to be Iranian. She truly is a fighter for her country.
The sad part about this is that I have a feeling that something bad could happen to her once she returns to Iran.I know that the Hexbollah are against her and her thoughts.Anyways I thought I should share this news with all of you.Feel free to share your thoughts about this.
cheers |

I don't know I sort of lost carrying about the nobel prize after they thought of recalling the prize from Peres a year or so ago; the first Nobel price winner they considered recalling such a prize from in their history.
I guess this chick is cool though, I don't know much about her, but an enemy of the Hezbullah should be a bonus point. |

hmm Iam not sure if she said she is against Hezbullah, she did mentioned in the ceremony that she considers herself a true muslim!!
she is all about the human rights, and thats the main reason she won the the nobel peace prize. |

| i'm rather glad that this woman won it. she really does deserve it, her work is great. they should be giving the prize to people like this...not damn Palestinians and Israelis who aren't doing anything for the amelioration of the world. |

I agree I don't think they were right in awarding the Palestinians and Israelis a peace prize for Oslo - they should get a prize when there is peace, not before.
They just corrupt the integrity of the nobel prize when they do this.. and it has made me care much less about the prize because of it. |

That is certainly a stain on the legacy of the nobel prize (Oslo and the current Intefada).
They also talked of revoking Arafat's prize correct?

If the pope won the nobel peace prize, that would almost be like Bin Laden winning it imo. Actually I'm sure the vatican's policies on condom use have probably killed more people than Bin Laden has.
p.s. Let's not forget about the Vatican policy of keeping quiet about child abusing priests....:whip: |
