OMFG! Rabbit in the Moon has been confirmed at Buzz for Friday Dec 19th!

We apologize for all the confusion surrounding Rabbit in the Moon's performance next Friday, December 19th. Long story short - things have been a bit ed since Scott Henry broke his arm a few weeks ago coming back from a gig in North Carolina. Alot of the bookings that Scott had been putting together for the month never got finalized, because he was in and out of the hosptial and taking care of his arm. Although Rabbit in the Moon was on the schedule tentatively for the 19th - the date was never confirmed. There was alot of confusion in the office about who was actually booked, and who was not - so we cautiously promoted the upcoming month...you may have noticed that we STILL have not released a full December flier...which is very unusual for Buzzlife.
That all being said...we are very happy to announce that RABBIT IN THE MOON WILL BE PERFORMING LIVE - next Friday, December 19th. We are very excited about this show, and we think it is the perfect way to head into the holiday season.
Again - the whole Buzzlife staff apologizes for the confusion. Scott is still in alot of pain - but is slowly recovering. We put our hearts and souls into making Cubik the best event it can be - but when Scott hurt himself, we had another important matter to focus on.

well i dont know what happened last night but it seems a lot of posts werent available or were lost.. so i tried bumping this last night
Sorry i forgot to do it earlier in the week and now its the night of!
But just for anyone that wants to go check out RITM tonite at Cubik, I will be there. I missed my oppurtunity to see RITM in New Orleans and i hear they put on a hell of a show!
Again sorry this is such late notice, but i hope to see some of u there if ur interested! :D |

they hail from Tampa, FL and perform live pa's. There is like three guys that make up RITM. Bunny, is the guy that dresses up in the suits and does his acts, Monk, works the tables, and i forget the guys name that works the keyboards. They are really awesome live and something every EDM lover should check out. I, myself have seen them perform at least 6 times and they sure do put on a show!!!:eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

My impressions of Rabbit in the Moon...
Interesting...very interesting! For years, I'd heard about Rabbit in the Moon's last performance at Nation in 1998. I didn't want to miss out this time! Once RitM started their performance, I was intrigued by the visuals on the screen and the ondulating crashing sounds. For some reason, the intro track sounded to me more like industrial...rather dark. The first three tracks really got my attention as well. After seeing Bunny's performing style and costume change, Rabbit in the Moon seemed to me as a more hallucinogen-influenced version of Skinny Puppy...minus the horror-movie imagery and fake blood. Weird but cool! For anyone in an altered state, it probably would be mind-blowing. It wasn't the most amazing performance ever, but it was still worth it.
I wouldn't mind seeing Rabbit in the Moon again! :D |
