dancing turns bodies into instruments capable
of creating vibes around them, responding to
the sounds revealed
often times a feeling of community is created
as a shared sense of humanity is embraced;
perhaps, our minds as a whole become one and
travel back on time thousands of years, back
to the times where people would dance thanking
the gods for rain, food, a new born, or a victory
against an oppressor
now, most of us are fortunate to experience this
kind of feeling with eloquent melodies and dramatic
compositions by simply playing your fav music or
going to a cool gig
what would be this world without music… |

| From my experience and from what I've seen, it can also be a way to relieve stress and anger, dispel distractions and anxieties, show off one's groovalicious assets, enjoy the moment with a significant other, burn calories, check out DJ'ing techniques, hear your favorite songs under a pounding sound system, rediscover yourself in the moment and connect with people from all different experiences in a unifying motion of appreciation and love for the music. <--- personal favorite ;) |

| When I posted my thoughts on dancing, I was in the same breathe going to post a poem that spontaneously started to arise in my mind. But I didnt want to bore you people with my sad personal life and how I cope with it because of music. |
