Should Armin really have remixed As The Rush Comes ?

When people heard As The Rush Comes we all found it very unique. A tune in an unnamed genre, with a nice bass line and some lovely vocals. Then Armin came along and did a splendid remix, with no doubt!
But do you think his good remix took too much attention away from the original Sweeping Strings Mix ?
So that it kind of made the tune less special perhaps ?
Enough to say that Armin shouldn't have remixed it ?
So my point isn't the quality of the two mixes, don't misunderstand. I love them both :)

No. He did a poor job. But then again, I really dislike his style.

agreed. armin took a unique track and did his usual remix style. added the bassline, the sounds, and turned it into a trademark armin, imo he shouldnt have. also, i dont think A&B should have remixed it, im a massive A&B fan but i found their remix of this one of their poorest efforts yet.
the only decent remix is the markus schulz remix, he keeps the style of the track and keeps a unique remix. |

Atleast I agree with Above & Beyond's remix. Nothing special...

I don't see why not. It's nice to have a variety of mixes, and his mix kinda freshened it up after I got bored of hearing the original... I don't know which mix I prefer.

AVB's remix was not as good as I expected it to be.
