I've actually have some real fond memories of EC. I was one of the dancers for one of the shows when it was still pretty big. My first time there and everyone was really nice to me and we really did had a great time. A girl I was with that night was trying to set me up with her best friend whom I haven't met yet and it was there that she saw me on TV. We later hooked up and it was the best relationship that I have ever had. So yeah, some pretty fond memories.

Too bad EC is dead tho. Everyone here likes to knock it, but the people were really nice there and people actually had fun.

Oh my. I used to Love this show. Back when I Was 13-15. I had to stop watching it because they never showed the stuff that I liked that was popular in Europe. My fave moments were when they :

* Played "Eins, Zwei, Polizei - Modo"
* had 2 unlimited Came on (With anita) :p

and that is about it. Other than that the show sucked and they always the DUMBEST ppl on there.

lol. I still like that song tho. Just the fact that an Italian is singing in German was kind of odd. Like Non D'angelo (Dunno if u remember him from the 80s) lol. Now for more MODO memories:

Gut Gut Super Gut alles Super gut!!. That song's lyrics were beyond strupid lol. Made no soense at all to me.

good riddens...

man.. i was just walking down queen yesterday and it looked like the dancers were lining up to get in.. didn't know it was the last episode or i would have stayed and watched for a bit at least
failsafe
I hardly ever watched but they did occasionally have decent DJ guests and sometimes they did play decent songs. I can remember watching one night when Christopher lawerence was the guest, and before he came on they played the video for underworld - cowgirl. That's the only time I ever saw much play that video. Sure it was crap most of the time, but I'd rather sit through euro crap to see cowgirl then sit through 23hrs of hiphop to see nothing.

Proud to say that I turned down all four of their offers to appear on EC. The exception to the rule that any publiCITY is good publiCITY.

I can forgive non-Canadian DJs for appearing because they didn't know what they were getting into, but any Canadian DJs on that show made fools of themselves just by showing up.
