Raw PCM audio to MP3, WMA , or Wav ?

can anyone help me out in finding a free downloadable converter or the name of a converter that I could buy online to change the raw pcm audio I get from my studio to mp3, WMA or a wav ?
When I open up the audio files on my computer, I get static like all i recorded was well ... static ...
I would be o' so greatful ... |

| If you have a studio, I'm assuing you have a wave-editing program (cool edit, wavelab). You should be able to open the raw pcm in it and encode it to the one of the formats. I use cool edit, I know it can do it. |
