Dj Thy Imo, the KP2 is better than the EFX (I know some don't share my opinion, but it's just that, an opinion). Easier to control, the effects sound better to my ears, and it's more versatile. Can be used as midi controller too, so good for producers also. How does it compare to the KP1? Better sound quality, and sturdier. Of course, the touchpad is a fragile part, but you should understand it's an effector, not a punching ball, like I sometimes see people treat it. Treat it with care, and it shall perform great. mef I love the KP2. It has these cool BPM effects such as looping and a phaser.
