there are various desert shrews that only eat and never have to drink. they get all their water requirements from the succulent plants they eat. cool fact about them....their kidneys are so efficient that they can urinate powder to conserve water loss....
since it is a riddle i doubt this is the answer ;) |

damn, kinda freaky :P, but not the answer? maybe I should just say it sincee its apparent there could be alot of answers :P |

just remembered one decent math problem/riddle i had to solve recently.
there are a certain number of books lying on the floor that u need to pack in boxes via tying them up into packages. u first try to make some packages with only 4 books in each, but then u notice that, at the end, 1 book is left unpacked. u then try to make a number of packages with 5 books in each, which also leaves only 1 book left. so u make packages with 6 books in each, which, once again, yields one single book remaining on the floor. finally, tying up 7 books together leaves u no additional books whatsoever. my question is, *at least* how many books had to be lying on the floor?
it's pretty easy, though :wtf: |

You find the number that 4, 5 and 6 all go into. Since the number must be divisible by 5, it has to end in a 5 or 0. Since it has to be divisible by 4, that rules out ending in a 5. 4 and 6 goes into one number every 60 numbers (i.e. 60, 120, 180 etc.) so you find the first number after every 60 that when 1 is added to it, it is divisble by 7 (61, 121, 181 etc.)
Dunno what the formula is, I gave up on math years ago. ;)
But I guess 1 is the answer so all that was for nought! =\ |
