SPLIT LONDON
Split is a new partnership between Retro_Vert and Flux, the techno nights run by Ben Sims and Chris Finke respectively. Finke has attracted attention as the new resident the UK's most famous techno night: Atomic Jam in Birmingham, and from this collaboration you can expect Techno, House, Acid House and Electro accompanied by an impressive line-up of VJ's on rotation as one interesting, fresh and innovative audio/visual concept in the British capital.
Split will launch at Turnmills in London on Saturday 7th February next year with a line-up featuring Derrick May (3 hour set), Surgeon, Oliver Ho (live), Ben Sims, Chris Finke, Chicken Lips, A Guy Called Gerald, Mark Broom & Paul Mac, Aidy West and Tony Anderson.
In addition to the music, one of the VJ's, Exceeda, will host the cinema room and will provide seated entertainment of this year's best (4x4) short films, animations, music videos and experimental pieces. (12/09/03)

If any of you London TA lot like techno like Adam Beyer, Dave Clarke and the likes, I strongly suggest you get your arses down here, it'll rock for sure. I'm tempted to make an appearance myself, but a bit early for me to tell as of yet. |
